The air ambulance landed at the helipad at MOBAL "Dr. Stefan Cherkezov" around 11:20 a.m. today to transfer the patient to a clinic with a higher level of competence. The young patient gave birth at the Tarnovo hospital, but her condition subsequently worsened and she was transferred to the intensive care unit.
Due to the risk to life, doctors have organized an emergency air transport. The medical helicopter took off from the regional hospital at 12:45 p.m.
The rescue mission comes less than 24 hours after a medical helicopter transported a 10-year-old child to the capital on Sunday.
